Time Warner Cable’s Northeast Ohio Network (NEON) is your local channel for everything and anything Northeast Ohio. From the local music scene to the latest in government affairs, high school sports match-ups and the best restaurants around – NEON covers it all.
NEON, available exclusively to Time Warner Cable customers in Northeast Ohio, was created as a primetime local network to remind viewers of all the great community projects, sites and entertainment available right in our backyard. Shows are produced here and hosted by people living in Northeast Ohio communities.
“NEON is the home of great, original programming that speaks the voice of Northeast Ohio,” said Bill Jasso, Vice President, Communications, Time Warner Cable Northeast Ohio. “We offer viewers quality shows about the area, produced by and starring people living right here in our very own neighborhoods.”
Companion On-Demand Offering
Local On Demand (LOD), like NEON, focuses on Northeast Ohio, but offers viewers a wider range of programming. For instance, most NEON programs – like 3 Squares and Helping Hands – can be found on LOD. In addition, some shows only appear on LOD – like a special tour of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame’s Bruce Springsteen Exhibit, or the NFL-affiliated All Pro Dad event.
Where to Find NEON & LOD
NEON programming can be found on channel 23, throughout Northeast Ohio. NEON is only available to Time Warner Cable customers.
LOD can be found on channel 411. LOD is free to Time Warner Cable’s Digital Cable customers and available anytime.
NEON/LOD Schedule Structure
For most shows on NEON, new episodes for a particular program air each month. (Please check the schedule page for detailed information.) The episodes are then replayed – sometimes weekly, sometime daily – throughout that month.
Episodes typically appear on LOD a day or two following the NEON debut. For instance, new Dinner & Drinks episodes air on NEON the first Monday of the month. That episode will then be placed on LOD a few days later.
“More Sports and Les Levine” offers NEON viewers live programming. Each week (M - Th) Les is live from 6 – 7 p.m., discussing sports with industry experts and callers.
Most sporting events, like high school football games, air on a tape-delayed basis, and typically air the same day as the actual event.

A Brief History
By the creation of Time Warner Cable shortly after the 2006 acquisition of the Northeast Ohio Adelphia and Comcast cable systems, NEON was intended to provide our one million customers with local community programming that no one else in the area can duplicate.
At first, NEON was a marriage of locally produced programs from the former Adelphia and Comcast systems, and Time Warner Cable’s legacy systems. Since then we have offered viewers a wide variety of local entertainment shows, local sporting events, local public affairs shows, and cablecasting of live special events that just aren’t available anywhere else.
As a sign of our continued dedication to quality programming, we are very proud that year-after-year NEON is recognized with awards from the Ohio Cable Telecommunications Association…including the prestigious Excellence in Local Programming Award.
